TURKISH LANGUAGE

Dear All,

As we approach the end of Term 2, I realize how quickly it has passed. During this time, the students have made a lot of progress and they’ve got better every day, as l observed, during class times.

During this term, students have learnt about using words that indicate the location of an object or a place e.g. giving directions to find where a room is in a house. They learnt how to explain and describe where objects are and how to help someone to find them by using these Turkish words ‘altında (under),üstünde (above), yanında (next to)’. They also learnt the Turkish names of rooms in a house like ‘yatak odası (bedroom), banyo(bathroom), oturma odası(living room)etc.
